baby health questions

I have a health insurance question for baby?

Hey, I was wondering if there is a type of cheap health insurance me and my husband could get since we don’t have any and are wanting to have a baby? We both work and have good jobs but, no insurance. Is there and insurance just to cover the baby because as long as the baby’s needs are covered I could care less about us? That includes like before the baby is born but, all the doctor visits pertaining to the baby.
It’s not really that I “care less” about us. It’s more that I would rather I get the best for my child wether I have insurace or not.

Few questions on baby in the stomach?

a) Will eating spicy food harm the baby?
b) I usually put hot pack behind my lower back, will the baby feel the heat? Any impact to her?
c) I’ve heard from chinese saying that taking cold stuff such as cold drinks and ice cream is not good for the baby as it will make his health poor when he’s born. How true is this?
d) Any limitation on how far can a person’s stomach stretch due to the growing baby?
e) Will breast size decrease to its normal size after giving birth?

Appreciate if you can help to provide some answers. Tks.

A Question About Baby-Health Regarding Age Of Parents?

I know study after study has shown the younger the mom and dad, the better chance of a healthy baby….

I am 29 pressing 30, and my girlfriend is 34 pressing 35….we’re falling in love fast, but reasonable enough to know we should take our time, and we’re a a few years away from marriage, which means by the time we’d conceive, i’d be 33 or 34, and she’d be 38 or 39….

…therefore, we’re seriously considering getting our eggs/sperm frozen NOW, so if we have a kid 5 years from now, it’ll be as if it was a 30 year old man and a 35 year old woman…

…my question though, is how much has the odds of down syndrome, autism, and god knows what else, ALREADY increased compared to say, a 21 year old couple conceiving?

At 34/35, has my girlfriend’s odds of an unhealthy baby already increased drastically? Or if she freezes her eggs now, is that still young enough where the increase is fairly minor?

And can anyone provide some research or sourcing to back up their claims? Thanks…

Baby Movement and the health of my baby?

Hi moms!

I am 31 weeks pregnant, and my baby is moving well, I believe. I have done kicking counts and I have never had a quiet time span for too long

However, I would say, overall during my whole pregnancy, my baby seems really mellow. He has never been a crazy kicker the way I have heard other women describe their kids. He never seems to be hyper active

I know he is moving and all right – so this may be a stupid question, but is my baby’s chilled out, occasional kicking style a sign of bad health? Is he not active enough in there?

Thanks!
